I will try to keep spoilers at a minimum but I just need to yell and scream about the details starting to turn up about the latest - and last - DLC for Inquisition.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far I have only seen a few things, the wiki - my main source of info - has basics up on some pages, like Solas of course has detail since he has a big part.

TCReagan had some reactions on Twitter too, including a screencap of Teagan Guerrin, who is looking old, thin and a bit worn. Actually, when I take a moment to push aside my initial aesthetic reaction, I think that's fitting, because how old is Teagan really? In DAO he didn't seem much under 40, and remembering that he is probably in the rough age-range of Maric since he was the brother of Maric's wife, so 40 or up during the Fifth Blight means that during DAI he is 50 or upwards and Tresspasser is two years later so he's 52 or upwards. Teagan, you're showing your age.

I know I said on a recent post that came through my messages that I would actually find it a convenient plot point if the Inquisitor died. In canon-verse (the 'verse Quest-verse has as backstory, where Elenaria went off to find a Cure for the Calling) it would maybe be a bit sad for Elenaria that Shangraile died before she could meet him properly, since she really only communicated with through letters, but in Firestar Alt-verse where she was in Haven and became an adviser to the Inquisition (probably with strong opinions on how to treat the mages and the Grey Wardens), it would hit her really hard. Why? Because I have ideas about a romance happening between her and Shangraile. If losing Kélan hit Elenaria badly enough to contribute to her suppressing her memories of Thedas, then losing him after previously losing Shangraile would have been even worse. Her time hiding in Alissa Theirin's guest wing in Gwaren might have been even longer. Conversely? I imagine meeting him again when he did return to Arda was far more emotional. Edit: Oops, I once again got Alana and Alissa mixed up. Alana is the Queen, Alissa the Terna of Gwaren. /Edit

Of course, exactly how that plays out depends on Valandhir's opinion about what Shangraile does about the Mark. I won't say the details here (Valandhir, if you want to know, I'll tell you in Messenger), but there is a cost to removing it, but I think that cost can be handwaved due to Shangraile's personal story (a story which him dying would fit into perfectly as well).

Edit to add: I have talked to Valandhir about the basics of Tresspasser, Shangraile dislikes Solas, so he probably does not trust him enough to accept help with the Mark and ends up dying. The thing with Shangraile's story is he dies in one world, then wakes up in another and gets involved with events for a while, wandering through several worlds like that before he eventually returns to Arda. Hence why him dying works fine. /Edit

Actually I'm glad that this is the last for now, every time something new has come up it's thrown me, sometimes even into a bout of [mild] depression that has required music and fanfic therapy to shift, and sometimes only Valandhir getting online has really cured it (though I admit I went through the same thing when I went on a reading binge on the Witcher wiki too).

To reiterate: Teagan is looking old. That is not a bad thing.
Edit: The Inquisitor may die. For Shangraile that may not be a bad thing (though Elenaria may disagree).
